Dear Mrs. Humphrey,
Thank you for the donation to the shoe bank. It sent me down memory lane to a time long ago when my husband and I, on our visits to our hometown, would sit in the church pew with you and Uncle Lex. A very nice memory.
I am glad to know you think "the shoe bank is a wonderful project". Some days calling volunteers, concerns about the money, and setting up on shoe bank days can be a bit discouraging. Then I hear something good-like your nice words- and I feel a lot better. So I will keep working as I know we are providing a needed service. Again, thank you. Sincerely, Carla |
