About Us

I have always been the type of person to say “thanks”. Sometimes it is a short note, sometimes belated, sometimes a quick e-mail to show my appreciation, and sometimes a long written out card but I have a need to say thank you.

I have also always carried around a list in my head of all of the people from the past who changed my life. We can all pinpoint these individuals. These are the people who impacted our lives and made a difference. Maybe it was through large or small gestures, or maybe they did not even know the affect they had on our lives.

In 2006, I decided to start on my list and properly thank those special people. I began, by writing to Miss Ditty, an elementary school teacher whose kindness helped me during a difficult time in my life. This letter, in turn, inspired me to create this website. My hope is that it provides a unique opportunity for you to say thanks and to read letters from others who have shared their stories of gratitude.

By saying thanks, you honor the goodness in people. Expressing gratitude encourages others to continue to do good deeds. Our world can be a challenging place to live. When you show your appreciation you reinforce the good in others, honor those who make a difference in your life, and hopefully make a positive impact on the world around us.

THANK YOU for taking the time to visit.

Sincerely,
  Michelle
